Akron Man Stephan G. Ward Sentenced to 100 Months for Meth Distribution

Stephan G. Ward to serve 100 months in prison for meth distribution from Ohio to West Virginia

An Akron man was sentenced to federal prison on Monday for his involvement in distributing methamphetamine, according to a statement from the United States Department of Justice.

Stephan G. Ward, 32, was sentenced to 100 months in prison for distributing methamphetamine from Ohio into West Virginia. In addition to his prison sentence, Ward will serve three years of supervised release once he is released from incarceration.

Ward had a history of prior drug and firearms convictions, as outlined in court documents. He faced a maximum sentence of 20 years for the charges against him.

U.S. District Judge John Preston Bailey presided over Ward’s case during the sentencing.
