Ajay Pal Singh Held in Agra Double Murder Case

Property dispute led to murder of brother, friend

by Ananya Mehta

In a chilling case of family betrayal, Ajay Pal Singh, his minor son, and two associates have been arrested for the double murder of his brother Krishna Pal Singh and Krishna’s friend Netra Pal, a known history-sheeter. The crime occurred in Kirawali police station limits on Monday, and police have now attributed it to a dispute over ancestral property.

According to DCP Anuj Sharma, the investigation revealed that Ajay Pal Singh was dissatisfied with a village panchayat ruling on their family land and plotted to eliminate his brother. Netra Pal was killed as he was accompanying Krishna Pal at the time.

The accused arrested include Ajay Pal Singh, Manish Kumar, and Dharmendra, all of whom have been sent to judicial custody. The minor son of Ajay Pal Singh will face trial in juvenile court.

Shockingly, the FIR complainant, who initially reported Krishna Pal’s death, turned out to be Ajay Pal himself. Police investigations exposed that he masterminded the murder, allegedly offering money to his son and accomplices to carry out the killings.

The bodies of Krishna Pal and Netra Pal, both in their 30s, were discovered in a dry canal early Monday. Their deaths sparked outrage in the local community, leading to a road blockade by villagers. The protest was lifted only after police assured swift justice.

DCP Sharma confirmed that property-related animosity was the core motive, and all suspects involved in the premeditated murders have now been apprehended.
