ABERDEEN, N.C. — An Aberdeen woman has been arrested and charged with multiple felony sexual offenses involving juveniles, according to the Aberdeen Police Department.
Police responded on Dec. 28 to a report of a sexual assault that allegedly occurred Dec. 26 near Saunders Boulevard and Churchill Downs Drive. Investigators identified a 13-year-old male as the initial victim and later identified a second 13-year-old male as a potential additional victim.
On Dec. 29, authorities executed a search warrant at a residence linked to the investigation, where evidence related to the alleged crimes was recovered. During the search, Aiza Navratil, 19, of Aberdeen, was detained and confirmed the identities of both juvenile victims.
Navratil has been charged with:
Felony statutory rape of a 13-year-old
Felony second-degree forcible rape
Two counts of felony statutory sexual offense involving a 13-year-old
She was brought before a Moore County magistrate and is being held without bond pending a judicial hearing. Authorities have not released the identities of the juvenile victims.
All charges are allegations, and Navratil is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
