The suspect, 27-year-old Nguon Toeun, nicknamed Pov, was apprehended by Kandal Steung District Police following the theft at 7:30 p.m. on November 12 at the airport in Ta Prohm Village, Boeung Khyang Commune. A urine test confirmed the suspect had used drugs.

During the investigation, authorities also identified a second suspect, Rith, 35, who remains at large.

Items seized from Nguon Toeun included:

1 steel-handled knife and 2 steel swords

1 Redmi phone (damaged)

1 Honda Dream C125 motorcycle, black and blue, plate 1V-9330

Stolen wires and metal triggers

Drug paraphernalia

1 black backpack, switchblade, 2 steel pliers, and a money bag

Police said Toeun used a black bag to carry pliers to the warehouse, cut the wires, and returned them to his room. Investigators found evidence of prior thefts, as Toeun admitted he had stolen from the warehouse five times previously.

Nguon Toeun is now in custody at the Kandal Steung District Police Headquarters, where the case is being formally processed. Authorities continue to search for the second suspect.
