The Riley County Police Department reports two arrests following a two-month investigation into a series of vehicle burglaries.
On Monday, 19-year-old Adyson Westgate of Wamego was arrested on Hayes Drive for two counts of criminal use of a financial card and one count of vehicle burglary. She was released after posting a $10,000 bond.
The following day, 25-year-old Jesup McClelland of Manhattan was taken into custody on Freemont Avenue, facing three counts of criminal use of a financial card. McClelland’s bond was set at $12,000, and he remains held at the Riley County Jail.
Authorities continue to investigate the string of vehicle burglaries.
