JONESBORO, Ark. — Two individuals are facing felony theft charges after allegedly stealing a skid steer valued at over $45,000 from Home Depot and selling it for a fraction of its worth.
According to court documents, Tyronza Allen, 26, rented the skid steer and trailer from Home Depot on May 16, 2025, using her driver’s license and personal information. Surveillance footage confirmed Allen and Adrian Jackson, 41, were both present during the rental.
The equipment was due to be returned the next day but never was. As of August 21, the skid steer remains missing.
A bench warrant was issued for Allen, who was the first to be arrested. Days later, Jackson voluntarily went to police and admitted he had instructed Allen to rent the equipment. He confessed to taking it and selling it for $4,000, claiming Allen had no knowledge of his intentions.
Despite his confession, both Allen and Jackson have been charged with Class B felony theft of leased or rented property.
Allen’s bail: $75,000
Jackson’s bail: $25,000
Next court date: October 30
This isn’t Jackson’s first run-in with law enforcement. In June 2025, he was charged in a similar Home Depot theft involving a trailer and mini-excavator. In that case, he also allegedly sold the equipment for cash and a 2007 Chevy Tahoe, which was later recovered.
Jackson is now facing additional Class D felonies for vehicle theft and theft under $5,000.
