LAREDO, Texas — Adrian Aguirre, 30, was arrested by the Laredo Police Department early Thursday morning following a violent domestic disturbance in North Laredo.
Officers responded at 1:07 a.m. to a residence on the 8700 block of Augusta Loop after reports of erratic behavior. Upon arrival, deputies found Aguirre being physically restrained by others due to his aggressive conduct.
Despite being held, Aguirre continued resisting arrest and spat on an officer, escalating the situation.
Jose Espinoza from LPD confirmed that Aguirre now faces several charges including two counts of Assault Family Violence, terroristic threat, harassment of a public servant, obstruction or retaliation, impeding breath during assault, and resisting arrest.
After processing at the LPD Booking Division, Aguirre was transferred to the Webb County Jail.
Authorities also noted Aguirre’s prior arrest in May, when he crashed into a fence and threatened responders, claiming he was trained in jiu-jitsu and would defend himself aggressively.
The Laredo Police Department continues to investigate the case.
