LINCOLN, Neb. — Lincoln Police arrested 27-year-old Adam Jarzynka on Thursday in connection with a stolen vehicle investigation.

Officers located Jarzynka inside a residence near South 34th and Randolph streets around 12:41 p.m. Authorities said he was wanted in connection with a vehicle theft case and also had an active Lancaster County felony warrant for failing to appear in court on a prior drug possession charge.

Police attempted to negotiate Jarzynka’s surrender for several hours. He eventually turned himself in shortly after 4 p.m. without further incident.

Jarzynka was taken to the Lancaster County Jail on the outstanding warrant. He was also cited for theft by unlawful taking involving property valued between $1,500 and $5,000.

The investigation remains ongoing.
