CHELMSFORD, UK — Chelmsford’s Neighbourhood Policing Team has charged a man in connection with a stolen mountain bike.

The bike was reported stolen near the Railway Tavern and Chelmsford train station between 6:40 p.m. and 11 p.m. on August 24.

Earlier, 25-year-old Charlie Hunt-Wragg of New London Road, Chelmsford, was charged in relation to the theft. Now, 33-year-old Adam Holland, of New Street, Chelmsford, has been charged with receiving stolen goods. He is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on January 7.

Sergeant Graham Thomas of the Neighbourhood Policing Team said:

“When someone has something stolen from them we take it really seriously, and that includes bike theft. We know the impact it can have, particularly if it’s how you get to and from work. We will investigate all reasonable lines of enquiry to identify suspects and bring them into custody.”

Authorities reminded the public that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
