Actor Casey Deidrick, widely recognized for his role as Chad DiMera on “Days of Our Lives,” was arrested over the weekend in Nashville, Tennessee, after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend and interfering with an emergency call. Deidrick, 37, was taken into custody on Sunday and charged with domestic assault and interference with an emergency call.

According to an arrest warrant obtained by TMZ, Deidrick and his girlfriend got into a heated argument at their Nashville home. The confrontation reportedly escalated when Deidrick believed his girlfriend was recording him with her phone. He allegedly grabbed the phone from her, which led to a physical altercation.

Deidrick told police that his girlfriend had wrapped her hands around his neck, but officers found no evidence to support this claim. In contrast, his girlfriend stated that she did not record him and described feeling scared, retreating into a corner of the kitchen with her phone. She further claimed that Deidrick approached her, placed her in a bear hug, and forcibly took the phone from her. She was reportedly able to get the phone back only after promising to leave the house.

Following the incident, Deidrick was jailed at the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office but was later released after posting a $2,500 bond.

Deidrick has appeared in several major TV shows in addition to his role in “Days of Our Lives,” including “Glee,” “Revolution,” “In The Dark,” “Teen Wolf,” and “Eye Candy.” His representatives declined to comment when contacted about the arrest.
