Abhilash Kumar, a 32-year-old assistant manager working at a private firm in Gurugram’s Sector 49, was arrested on Monday for allegedly flashing a woman near Rajiv Chowk.
The incident occurred on the morning of August 2 when the victim was waiting for a taxi. According to police, Kumar, a resident of Karnal and father of one, had just attended a parent-teacher meeting at his son’s school when he committed the offense.
The woman promptly reported the incident to the police, leading to Kumar’s swift arrest.
Authorities confirmed that Kumar is a civil engineer by profession and had no prior criminal record. The case is currently under investigation, and legal proceedings have begun.
Police have reiterated their commitment to ensuring women’s safety in public spaces and encouraged citizens to report any such offenses immediately.
