Two Aberdeen residents, Vincent McRae, 36, and Michael Thomas, 40, are facing several drug-related charges after Moore County detectives executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Gaines Street on Friday.
According to Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields, the search led to the discovery and seizure of suspected drugs, including cocaine, fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamine, ecstasy, oxycodone, hydrocodone, marijuana, and various drug paraphernalia.
Vincent McRae was arrested and now faces multiple charges, including possession with intent to sell and deliver ecstasy, heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, oxycodone, hydrocodone, and marijuana. He is also charged with trafficking in opium or heroin and maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for the purpose of controlled substances. McRae is currently held in the Moore County Detention Center under a 48-hour hold in accordance with HB813, which took effect last year.
Michael Thomas was arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He has been given a $10,000 secured bond.
Both suspects are scheduled to appear in court on November 27.
