Murray – A Murray man was arrested Wednesday morning after deputies discovered he was driving a stolen vehicle during a routine traffic stop.
At approximately 6:00 a.m. on March 5, 2026, Calloway County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle on South 12th Street. The driver, Aaron R. Wilkinson, 52, was found to be operating a car reported stolen.
The vehicle had been taken from an Enterprise Rental Car location in Mayfield during a burglary. The original theft investigation is being coordinated with the Mayfield Police Department.
Wilkinson was booked into the Calloway County Detention Center and faces charges including:
Receiving Stolen Property valued at $10,000 or more (Class C felony)
Operating on a Suspended License
Receiving Stolen Property
Authorities continue to investigate the incident and the original theft.
