HARRISBURG, Pa. —
Two men accused in a fatal shooting that took place in Harrisburg have been arrested, according to authorities.
Police confirmed Monday that Aaron Hurtt, 23, and Teriq Coleman, 22, were taken into custody. Both face charges including murder in connection with the April 14 shooting of 26-year-old Omar Wilson Jr. at the intersection of North Fourth and Muench streets.
A criminal complaint reveals chilling details provided by a witness. She reported seeing two groups about to engage in a fight, shouting at each other to drop makeshift weapons, including bats and even cans stuffed in socks.
She noticed a man—later identified as Hurtt—sitting on a nearby porch. According to the witness, he was making hand gestures, including a slashing motion across his neck, as if signaling someone.
Moments later, when Wilson reached the intersection, the witness said Hurtt and Coleman suddenly charged at him, both firing handguns. Wilson fell but tried to get back up. At that point, Hurtt allegedly stood over him and emptied his gun’s magazine into Wilson, the complaint states.
