LAREDO, Tex. — A 71-year-old man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after crashing his vehicle into a pole, according to the Laredo Police Department.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, December 10, at approximately 11:30 a.m. on the 2200 block of East Clark Blvd., when officers responded to a report of an accident with injuries.
The driver, identified as Dennis David Cantu, showed signs of intoxication at the scene. Cantu was transported to a hospital and subsequently arrested for DWI.
No additional details on injuries were released by authorities.
