LEE COUNTY, Ala. (WRBL) — Two brothers have been arrested and are facing a total of 16 charges following an investigation into multiple thefts in the Beauregard community in late November.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, a John Deere Gator utility vehicle was reported stolen on Nov. 25, 2025, from a business in the 1000 block of Lee Road 166. The following day, witnesses reported seeing two men driving what appeared to be the stolen vehicle on private property along the 7000 block of Lee Road 146.
The property owner later discovered that fencing had been vandalized, resulting in the loss of 19 cows.
On Nov. 27 and Nov. 28, deputies received reports of two separate vehicle break-ins near the same property. Firearms were reported stolen from both vehicles.
Investigators identified 19-year-old Stantavious Glenn Lockhart Jr. and 22-year-old Zatrevion Latae Lockhart as suspects in the case.
On Thursday, Dec. 11, deputies executed a search warrant at Lockhart Jr.’s residence. Authorities recovered several stolen items, including the utility vehicle, additional firearms, identity documents, credit and debit cards, checkbooks, and a laptop equipped with a credit card reader. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were also found at the residence.
Both brothers were taken into custody and charged in connection with the thefts and recovered items. The investigation remains ongoing.
