Kristopher Mann Arrested for Rainier Deli Armed Robbery

Man held knife to employee’s throat, stole cash and property

RAINIER, Ore. — A Longview man has been arrested for allegedly holding a knife to an employee’s throat during an armed robbery at the Rainier Deli & Mart on Friday, Dec. 12.

Columbia County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of the robbery and were informed that Kristopher Mann threatened an employee with a knife while demanding money and valuables from employees and customers. Mann then fled the store with a “large sum of money” and property belonging to customers.

Deputies deployed K-9 units to track Mann, leading to his arrest. Law enforcement also recovered a black duffel bag containing $2,245, a black sweatshirt, a balaclava, and a folding knife near the area where Mann was apprehended.

Mann has been charged with:

Three counts of first-degree robbery

Three counts of first-degree theft

One count of second-degree theft

Three counts of menacing

He is currently being held at the Columbia County Jail.
