Two individuals were arrested in connection with an illegal kidney sale racket in Namakkal district and remanded to Salem Central Prison on Monday, October 13, 2025.
The accused were identified as Anandhan (60) and Stanley Mohan (49), both residents of Annai Sathya Nagar. The police action is part of a continuing investigation into illegal organ trade activities in the region.
Authorities are probing the racket further to uncover networks involved in the illegal kidney trade and prevent similar crimes.
