Three Arrested for Dasnapur Cash and Jewellery Burglary

Thieves caught after stealing Rs 1.4 lakh and silver

Dasnapur police have arrested three notorious thieves accused of burgling Rs 1.40 lakh in cash and a kilogram of silver jewellery from a commercial complex in the town. Authorities also recovered Rs 49,149, a two-wheeler, and three mobile phones from the suspects.

The arrested individuals are:

Mohammad Moiz, an auto-rickshaw driver from Adilabad town

K Sai Kumar, a daily wage earner from Nirmal district

Shaik Kaleem, a painter from Nirmal district

Police said the trio gained entry into the commercial complex and a temple in the Gokul Industrial Area on November 25, breaking open an iron almirah to steal cash and jewellery.

During interrogation, the suspects confessed that they formed a gang to fund a lavish lifestyle. Sai Kumar and Kaleem admitted to involvement in several property-related crimes, while Moiz revealed that he had been booked in 60 previous offences across different parts of the district.

Police are continuing investigations to determine if the trio was involved in any additional burglaries in the area.
