BOISE, Idaho — Boise Police have arrested Eric Heaton in connection with a vehicular burglary and credit card theft.
Heaton allegedly stole a car containing the victim’s credit cards, as well as a credit card belonging to her father. He then used the stolen cards for fraudulent purchases, including buying lottery tickets.
Investigators say Heaton entered multiple businesses on five occasions using three stolen bank cards. After purchasing lottery tickets, he reportedly presented ten illegally obtained tickets and collected the winnings.
Heaton was booked into Ada County Jail on charges of burglary, intent to defraud, and lottery counterfeit.
