CANANDAIGUA, NY — Following an investigation into a larceny at Walmart on July 24, 34-year-old Christina Elizabeth McCloud-Evans was arrested, Ontario County deputies reported.
Authorities said McCloud-Evans worked with two other suspects to steal merchandise from the store. At the time of the theft, she had a juvenile in her presence, despite an active order of protection safeguarding the child from McCloud-Evans.
She was taken into custody Friday afternoon without incident and charged with:
Petit larceny
Endangering the welfare of a child
Criminal contempt
McCloud-Evans was transported to the Ontario County Jail, where she was held awaiting arraignment at CAP Court.
