Kapurai police arrested four people, including a minor, on Thursday for allegedly robbing a man near the APMC market on National Highway 48 on October 23.
The accused, identified as Tushar Chunara, Ashish Chunara, Harsh Chunara, and a minor, targeted Rakesh Khatik while he was waiting for a bus around 11:30 pm. Two of the men held Khatik, while the others allegedly stole Rs 25,000 from his pocket.
Police traced the suspects within a day using CCTV footage after Khatik lodged a complaint at the Kapurai police station. Authorities noted that this was the second robbery reported on the same stretch in 45 days. On September 29, Keshuram Labana was robbed by four men who offered him a lift, stealing Rs 8,000 and a mobile phone.
Investigation into the case is ongoing, and the arrested individuals have been taken into police custody.
