The Hebbagodi police have arrested Nitesh Subo, a 26-year-old real estate agent, for allegedly burgling his neighbour’s house and stealing Rs60.4 lakh.
Nitesh, a native of West Bengal, works in a real estate firm and resides in an apartment at Thirupalya, Anekal with his sister, who is employed in a private company.
During police interrogation, Nitesh reportedly confessed that he committed the theft due to urgent financial needs for his father’s medical treatment. The burglary took place while his neighbour was away in Dehradun.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are verifying if any accomplices were involved in the crime.
