Neelankarai police have arrested 25-year-old Mustaqim Ahmed on charges of assaulting a woman security guard following an argument.
The victim, a 50-year-old woman from Kallakurichi district, works as a security guard at an under-construction building in Pandian Nagar, Vettuvankeni. Ahmed, employed at a nearby site, allegedly approached her while intoxicated and started a quarrel. The woman reported the incident to his site supervisor, who reprimanded him, leading to further police action.
