JONESBORO, Ark. — William Zachary Herron, 44, and Melissa Anne Herron, 41, owners of All-Star Restoration, were arrested after allegedly defrauding customers out of more than $250,000. Both were ordered to wear GPS ankle monitors and have cash-only bonds set at $250,000.
Jonesboro police received multiple complaints from homeowners who paid for roofing services that were never completed. Investigators identified over 50 clients who had been solicited for services dating back to May 2024.
According to the affidavit, All-Star representatives went door-to-door, asking homeowners to sign contracts allowing the company to liaise with their insurance companies. Once insurance checks were issued, customers were asked to sign over initial payments upfront. However, many never received the promised roofing work or refunds.
Employees reportedly confronted the Herrons about the missing roofs but were given repeated excuses. Some employees claimed the couple planned to move to Atlanta to open new All-Star locations, while using business funds to maintain a lavish lifestyle. Court documents suggest the couple may be over $800,000 in personal debt.
Subcontractors and suppliers also reported being unpaid, with debts exceeding $50,000. Multiple sales representatives noted that their paychecks had bounced.
Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Jessica Thomason stated during the hearing that additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.
