New Delhi: In a major breakthrough, the Delhi Police have arrested three members of the infamous ‘Thak-Thak’ gang, a group long known for stealing valuables from parked cars across the city. The accused were caught while allegedly attempting to sell stolen electronics, including laptops.
The key suspect, Deepak alias Nikhil, along with his associates Dinesh alias Babloo and Naushad, were apprehended after police acted on a tip-off from an informant. Acting swiftly, the team laid a trap and arrested the trio, recovering a significant stash of stolen laptops linked to multiple theft cases near Bharat Mandapam and the Supreme Court.
According to investigators, the arrests have helped uncover an organized theft network responsible for numerous incidents across Delhi. The seized items have been traced to several registered complaints, providing long-awaited relief to victims.
Police said efforts are underway to identify and arrest additional gang members and recover more stolen goods connected to the syndicate’s operations.
