Teddy Walker and Charles Harrell Arrested in College Station Car Burglaries

Two teens caught breaking into cars, face multiple burglary charges

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) — Two teenagers were arrested early Sunday morning after being caught attempting to break into cars in College Station. The arrests occurred around 4 a.m. on November 10, near Luther Street and Montclair Avenue, when officers observed 17-year-old Teddy Walker and 18-year-old Charles Harrell pulling on car door handles.

According to police reports, the duo was seen trying to enter 16 different vehicles, successfully gaining access to one. Following their arrest, three vehicle owners were contacted by law enforcement and asked to press charges against the suspects. The arrests come amid an increase in car burglaries in the area, prompting extra patrols from the College Station Police Department.

Both Walker and Harrell were charged with three counts of Burglary of a Vehicle, each facing $55,000 in bonds. They were booked into the Brazos County Jail.

The case highlights the ongoing issue of vehicle burglaries in College Station and serves as a reminder for residents to remain vigilant about securing their vehicles.
