MONROE COUNTY, GA — Douglas Roy, 35, of Fairburn, has been arrested in connection with the theft of two Skid Steers from the Buc-ee’s construction site on Rumble Road.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of the stolen machinery and conducted an extensive search. One Skid Steer was recovered in Manchester, Georgia, and the other in Riverdale, Georgia.
Roy has been charged with two counts of theft by taking. The investigation into the case remains ongoing.
