Police solved a case of construction material theft within just three hours on September 27, arresting two suspects involved in stealing iron rods and metal plates from an under-construction house in Sector 10.
According to police, a complaint was filed at the Sector 10 police outpost in the evening, reporting that two unidentified men had stolen iron rods and metal plates, loading them onto a rickshaw and fleeing the scene earlier that afternoon.
An FIR was registered at Sector 5 police station, and the case was immediately handed over to ASI Sunil Dutt. Acting swiftly, Dutt and his team launched a thorough investigation and managed to apprehend both suspects within three hours of the complaint.
The arrested individuals have been identified as:
Sandeep, a native of Sonipat, currently living in Budhanpur
Akash, from Jind district, currently residing in Rajiv Colony
During the operation, police recovered the stolen construction materials as well as the rickshaw used in the theft.
Both accused were produced in court on September 28 and have been remanded to judicial custody.
Police officials praised the prompt response and coordination of the investigation team, particularly the efforts of ASI Sunil Dutt, in solving the case quickly and efficiently.
