SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WOIO) – Two individuals were arrested Friday following a drug-related search conducted by Springfield Township Police.
According to an official release, Misty Smead, 57, and William Boyd, 61, were taken into custody during the execution of a search warrant in the 2500 block of Massillon Road. The arrests stem from an ongoing investigation into the distribution of narcotics in the area.
Both suspects face multiple charges, including:
Trafficking in methamphetamine
Possession of methamphetamine
Trafficking in marijuana
Illegal cultivation of marijuana
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Authorities say the search resulted in the discovery of methamphetamine, marijuana, and related paraphernalia used in the trafficking and cultivation of drugs.
