Mumbai Police have arrested four alleged serial offenders involved in a major robbery at a mobile and branded watch shop in Andheri East earlier this month. The police also recovered stolen property, including phones and cash, from the accused.

The burglary occurred around September 7-8, when unidentified individuals broke into the shop and fled with approximately 150 branded watches, 10 mobile phones, and cash.

Following the complaint, police launched a thorough investigation using technical surveillance and informant inputs. The main accused, 46-year-old Moinuddin Nazim Shaikh from Mumbra, was arrested first. He is a habitual offender, police said. His interrogation led to the arrest of three accomplices from Turbhe and Dongri.

The other arrested individuals are Sabir Shaikh (40), a resident of Vashi; Amruddin Ali Hasan Shaikh (60), from Dongri; and Prabhu Bhaglu Choudhary (30), of Airoli.

Authorities noted that Sabir Shaikh has two prior cases against him, while Amruddin Ali Hasan Shaikh and Prabhu Bhaglu Choudhary have been booked for five past offences.
