Prasad Pandav Gang Held for Armed Robbery and Bike Theft

Pimpri Chinchwad Cops Bust 4-Member Criminal Syndicate

A major breakthrough in a motorcycle theft case has led the Pimpri Chinchwad police to bust a four-member armed robbery gang operating across Ahilyanagar and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar districts. The arrests followed investigations into a theft reported from the Mhalunge MIDC area on September 12.

Arrested Accused:

Prasad Pandav (25) – Khuldabad, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

Ashish Bhosale (19) – Ahilyanagar

Hrishikesh Dhaktode (23) – Ahilyanagar

Shivam Bhalerao (21) – Ahilyanagar

Recovery:

The police recovered stolen and illegal items worth Rs7.4 lakh, including:

A country-made pistol

Three live cartridges

One car

One motorcycle

According to Assistant Inspector Kalyan Ghadge of Mhalunge MIDC police, the duo Pandav and Bhosale were initially held by the Pune crime branch. During interrogation, they revealed the names of their associates, Dhaktode and Bhalerao, who were later arrested in Khed.

All four have criminal records and are linked to multiple cases in Pune and Ahilyanagar.
