The Bhoiwada police station has arrested three men accused of stealing gold ornaments and cash valued at Rs 4.07 crore from a jewellery shop in Parel, Mumbai.

On September 8, Jeetu Navaram Choudhary, 23, a worker at A Jalichand Jewellers, allegedly stole the valuables without the owner’s consent and fled with fraudulent intent.

A case under Section 306 (theft) of the Bharatiya Nyay Sahita was registered following the complaint. Due to the gravity of the crime, police teams from Bhoiwada and the Crime Detection Branch Unit 4 swiftly launched investigations.

Using technical means and undercover informants, the police traced and arrested Jeetu along with two accomplices, Kamlesh Choudhary (26) and Bharatkumar Choudhary (38), all residents of Pali district, Rajasthan. So far, 70% of the stolen property has been recovered, with efforts ongoing to seize the remaining items.
