FELTON, Del. — An 18-year-old man, Adam Green of Felton, was arrested by Delaware State Police Friday morning for stealing a car, using a stolen credit card, and violating court-ordered conditions.

On September 12, 2025, around 6:30 a.m., troopers responded to a home on Cabin Ridge Road after a 2016 Dodge Journey was reported stolen overnight. The vehicle’s keys and a credit card were left inside, and the card had been used for an unauthorized purchase.

Investigators quickly identified Adam Green as the suspect. By 10:51 a.m., troopers located the stolen vehicle at a home on Nathaniel Mitchell Road in Dover. Green was arrested without incident, and both the car and keys were recovered.

A computer check revealed Green had cut off his GPS ankle monitor and violated his court-ordered curfew earlier that morning.

He was taken to Troop 3, arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $3,501 cash bond.

Charges:

Theft of a Motor Vehicle (Felony)

Unlawful Use of Payment Card Under $1500

Breach of Release

Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree
