Cuddalore Police Arrest 39-Year-Old for Online Job Fraud

Man Cheats Woman of ₹3.75 Lakh Through Fake Job Offer

Cuddalore Cyber Crime Police have apprehended a 39-year-old man for allegedly defrauding a woman by luring her with an online part-time job offer.

The victim, 32-year-old R. Kalaiselvi from Panruti, came across a message on YouTube promoting a quick-money online job. After seeking more information, she was directed to download an app to proceed. The fraudster, posing as a legitimate employer, convinced her to make an online investment. Over time, the woman ended up losing Rs3.75 lakh to the scam.

The police have now arrested the accused, and investigations are ongoing to uncover further details of the operation.
