Anthony Harden Convicted in Topeka Armed Robbery Case

Found guilty of aggravated robbery and battery with weapon

TOPEKA, KS — A Topeka man has been convicted by a grand jury for his role in a 2024 armed robbery and aggravated battery incident, the Shawnee County District Attorney’s Office announced.

Anthony L. Harden, of Topeka, was found guilty following a two-day jury trial that began on September 9, 2025, and concluded on September 10.

The charges stem from a violent robbery that took place on December 12, 2024, at a location near 1245 SE 29th Street in Topeka.

Convictions:

Harden was convicted of the following felony charges:

Aggravated Robbery – Armed with a dangerous weapon (Level 3 Felony)

Aggravated Battery – Knowingly using a weapon to cause great bodily harm (Level 7 Felony)

According to Shawnee County District Attorney Mike Kagay, Harden remains in custody at the Shawnee County Department of Corrections. A sentencing date has not yet been set.
