MOSES LAKE, Wash. — Colin James Golden, 37, of Arlington, was arrested Sunday following a police pursuit involving a stolen van, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO).

Deputies were alerted by camera systems to a stolen van spotted near the Motel Six in Moses Lake. Upon locating the vehicle, the driver—identified as Golden—fled the scene, leading law enforcement on a chase down West Broadway and Interstate 90.

Golden lost control of the van while attempting to exit at ramp 174, causing the vehicle to spin and strike a guardrail. Despite briefly resisting arrest, deputies and Moses Lake Police officers successfully negotiated a peaceful surrender.

Golden faces multiple charges including driving under the influence, attempting to elude police, resisting arrest, obstructing law enforcement, and possession of a stolen vehicle. The stolen van has been returned to its owner in Benton County.

No injuries were reported among law enforcement or the suspect.
