MANCHESTER, N.J. — Authorities in Ocean County seized hundreds of pounds of illegal drugs and approximately $140,000 in cash during a major raid on a Manchester Township home, prosecutors said Monday.

The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office said six individuals were arrested after law enforcement executed a search warrant at the residence on August 25. Investigators believed the property was being used as a drug distribution hub.

The six suspects arrested at the scene include:

Giorgio Arroyave, 27, of Manchester

Paul Saryan, 29, of Montville

Hunter Penz, 23, of Medford

Rhianna Noonan, 22, of Bridgewater

Ryan Verlie, 26, of Berkeley

According to prosecutors, the group was allegedly storing and distributing multiple controlled substances from the home, including marijuana, THC products, psilocybin mushrooms, LSD, methamphetamine, MDMA, and cocaine.

What Was Seized:

121 pounds of marijuana

100 pounds of THC products

75 pounds of cannabis concentrate

20 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms

7 sheets of LSD

2 pounds of methamphetamine

6 ounces of MDMA

40 grams of cocaine

$140,000 in U.S. currency

All six individuals were charged with possession with intent to distribute more than 25 pounds of marijuana and conspiracy to distribute marijuana.

Giovanni Arroyave faces additional charges related to the other illegal substances found in the home.

Despite the massive haul, all six suspects have been released from custody pending court proceedings, the prosecutor’s office confirmed.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be forthcoming.
