LEESVILLE, La. (WNTZ) – The Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office reported several arrests over the past week, according to Sheriff Sam Craft.
On August 25, deputies arrested James Stewart, 67, of Leesville, on an outstanding bench warrant. Stewart remains in the Vernon Parish Jail, with bond yet to be set.
That same day, Tracy Scott Bailey, 51, from DeRidder, was charged with illegal possession of stolen property. Bailey remains jailed without bond set.
Also on August 25, John Wayne Ciccarelli, 31, of Dry Creek, was arrested on charges including simple arson, improper telephone communications, and criminal trespass. His bond status remains pending.
In a separate case, Nolan John Myers, 54, of Leesville, was taken into custody on an out-of-jurisdiction warrant from Arizona and is currently held without bond.
On August 25, Dallas Joanna Nash, 43, of Leesville, was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant. Nash posted a $2,500 bond and was released.
On August 26, Kristy Clifford, 46, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. A detainer from the Louisiana Department of Probation and Parole has also been placed on her. Clifford remains in custody without bond.
On August 27, deputies arrested Bradford Lewis Moyers, 49, of Rosepine, on an outstanding bench warrant. Moyers posted a $1,500 bond and was released.
Sheriff Craft emphasized the ongoing efforts to maintain public safety and enforce outstanding warrants in Vernon Parish.
