HARLAN/BELL CO., Ky. — Brock Farley, a Harlan County man, was arrested after stealing a 1990 blue Chevy Corvette from Fuson’s Auto dealership in Middlesboro on July 21.

According to a criminal complaint, Farley caused a disturbance before police attempted to stop him. He fled at high speed, reportedly forcing two cars off the road while driving recklessly.

Farley lost control of the Corvette on Highway 38 heading toward Harlan. Officers from Evarts Police Department, Harlan County Sheriff’s Office, and Harlan Police pursued him as he traveled toward Cumberland on U.S. 421 but ended the chase due to safety concerns.

On July 30, Kentucky State Police apprehended Farley on U.S. 119.

He faces multiple charges, including fleeing and evading police, receiving stolen property valued between $1,000 and $10,000, first-degree wanton endangerment, reckless driving, and registration violations.
