Srikakulam Police Arrest Kaviti Niklesha & Tummala Karthik for Bike Thefts

Two friends caught for stealing motorcycles in Kasibugga area

Srikakulam district police have arrested two men in connection with recent motorcycle thefts in the Kasibugga sub-division. The first theft was reported on August 14 by D. Suresh of Tekkali Patnam village, who found his motorcycle missing after parking it roadside near a park.

The second theft occurred on August 18 when M. Dilliswara Rao of Mendapeta village discovered his elder brother’s Pulsar motorcycle stolen from outside Malleswara Rao Hospital in Kasibugga. Both victims promptly filed complaints at the Kasibugga police station.

The accused, identified as Kaviti Niklesha and Tummala Karthik, were apprehended during a routine police check. DSP Appa Rao revealed that the two are longtime friends who studied together at Kesava Reddy School in Srikakulam. They reportedly had habits including alcohol consumption, marijuana use, and online gambling.

Authorities continue investigations as both suspects remain in custody.
