HARRISON, NY — Authorities swiftly identified and arrested a suspect involved in a smash-and-grab theft at the historic Westchester Country Club.
On August 13 at approximately 3:25 p.m., Harrison Police responded to a report that an employee’s vehicle had been broken into. The vehicle’s window was shattered and a wallet was stolen.
After a prompt investigation, police identified 59-year-old Jesse Foote of Stony Point as the suspect and located his vehicle. Within hours, officers spotted Foote driving on the Palisades Parkway and conducted a traffic stop without incident. Foote was taken into custody.
A search of his vehicle revealed stolen items connected to the crime. Foote faces charges including felony fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony fourth-degree grand larceny, and misdemeanor fourth-degree criminal mischief.
The Harrison Police Department praised its Detective Division and officers for their swift and effective work that led to the timely arrest.
