Joseph Tacchino Arrested for July Burglary in Farmington

Canton man charged with breaking into business, vehicle thefts

FARMINGTON, N.Y. — Joseph V. Tacchino, 35, of Canton, was arrested August 7 in connection with a July 1 burglary at a Farmington business and thefts from vehicles parked nearby.

According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Tacchino unlawfully entered WNY Flex Space on Plastermill Road around 3 a.m. with the intent to commit a crime. Investigators say he also stole items from multiple vehicles in the parking lot before fleeing the scene.

Tacchino was charged with third-degree burglary and transported to Ontario County Jail for CAP Court processing.
