Cave Spring Couple Arrested for Felony Shoplifting at West Rome Walmart
ROME, GA — Two Cave Spring residents were arrested this week after allegedly attempting to steal over $700 worth of merchandise from the West Rome Walmart.
According to police reports, 21-year-old Zander Robin Grogan and 18-year-old Jordynn Dyain Hughes were caught trying to exit the store with a backpack filled with unpaid items totaling $710.98.
Store employees reported the attempted theft to authorities, leading to the couple’s arrest.
Both Grogan and Hughes are now facing felony theft by shoplifting charges due to the value of the stolen goods.
