Nicholas Bohlender and Terrance Bellard Arrested in Miami, OK for Copper Wire Theft

Two suspects caught in burglary attempt with tools and copper wire

Burglary Suspects Arrested in Miami, Oklahoma for Attempted Copper Wire Theft

MIAMI, OK — On Sunday night, Miami Police Department officers, alongside Miami Nation Tribal Police, responded to a burglary in progress at 2216 G Street NW.

Arriving around 11:30 p.m., officers discovered evidence of forced entry and apprehended two suspects, Nicholas Bohlender and Terrance Bellard, inside the building.

Authorities found burglary tools including a Sawzall, bolt cutters, and gloves in their possession. Video footage and physical evidence confirmed the suspects were attempting to steal copper wire.

Both suspects were arrested and taken to the Ottawa County Jail. Charges have been forwarded to the District Attorney and the Miami Nation District Court for prosecution.
