Four men have been arrested by the Sola High Court police surveillance team in connection with a string of burglaries, with stolen goods worth Rs 13.5 lakh recovered from them.
The arrests followed a tip-off near Chandlodia railway crossing after a series of burglaries reported at Sola High Court and Naroda police stations. Police seized luxury watches valued at Rs 12 lakh, cash of Rs 1.5 lakh, and burglary tools from the accused.
The arrested men are identified as Pawan Bhuvan, Sachin Dharam, Purshottam Bheema, and Sagar Harisingh, all from Guna district, Madhya Pradesh. Police confirmed that two other suspects, Ramlal and Karan, are still absconding.
During interrogation, the group admitted to burglaries in Chandlodia’s Gopinathnagar, Naroda’s Surthansh Villa, and Gota’s Patel Vas areas. They used hydraulic cutters to break window grills, entering homes at night to steal cash, jewellery, and watches.
Police revealed the gang conducted daytime reconnaissance to identify targets and operated at night. Stolen items were reportedly sold outside the state, with proceeds shared among members. The gang frequently changed locations to evade arrest.
Cases have been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at Sola High Court and Naroda police stations. Authorities are actively seeking additional suspects linked to the burglaries.
