DAWSON COUNTY, Ga. — Two men were arrested following an alleged home robbery targeting a disabled victim in Dawson County.
Deputies responded to a call on July 3 after the victim reported a burglary. According to the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office, the suspects removed the victim’s wheelchair to prevent him from reaching his belongings and stole his wallet, IDs, and other personal items.

The second suspect, Jonathan Miranda-Rosas of Dawsonville, was apprehended about a week later. He is charged with theft by receiving and identity fraud. Authorities also named Miranda-Rosas as a person of interest in other ongoing investigations that could result in additional warrants.
