WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — A Warrick County couple has been arrested in connection with a series of storage unit burglaries that began in April at the Store N Lock facility on SR 662.
Deputies were called to the storage business after three victims reported break-ins at their units. Stolen property included tools, firearms, car parts, a bicycle, and various other items.
During the investigation, detectives reviewed surveillance footage and learned that two renters at the facility—Mary and Kenneth Cavanaugh—were seen on camera entering multiple storage units and removing property.
Authorities obtained a search warrant for the Cavanaughs’ home on Conrad Court, where they recovered tools belonging to one of the victims. No additional stolen property was located at the residence.
Kenneth Cavanaugh was arrested and booked into the Warrick County Jail on Wednesday.
Mary Cavanaugh was also arrested but later released on a $3,000 bond, according to court records.
Both Mary and Kenneth now face multiple felony charges related to burglary and theft. The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges could follow depending on recovered evidence.
