LEBANON, PA – Two Shenandoah residents were arrested over the weekend in connection with an alleged armed home invasion in Lebanon.
On Saturday, June 14, around 5 a.m., Lebanon City Police responded to reports of a suspicious person on the 300 block of North Cherry Street. Their investigation revealed that 25-year-old Hensy Rafael Peralta and 18-year-old Josue David Baez-Perez had forcibly entered a residence, threatened the occupants’ lives, and stole several items.
According to court records, Peralta allegedly brandished a firearm, racked it, and told residents he would kill them. The duo then left with a PlayStation 5, a mountain bike, and a pair of shoes, totaling approximately $800 in value.
Officers quickly located and arrested both suspects. Peralta was reportedly in possession of a Taurus handgun, which he was not licensed to carry. Baez-Perez had marijuana and a THC vape at the time of arrest.
Both men are charged with eight identical felony and misdemeanor counts, including burglary, theft, conspiracy, receiving stolen property, and terroristic threats. Baez-Perez faces an additional drug charge, while Peralta faces an additional firearm charge.
Bail for each was set at $250,000, and both remain in custody at the Lebanon County Correctional Facility. Their preliminary hearings are scheduled for June 26 at 8 a.m. before Judge Kim R. Wolfe.
