On Thursday, June 12, 2025, the Aluva Excise Department arrested three individuals in connection with the seizure of 0.55 grams of suspected MDMA from a hotel at Choornikkara near Aluva.
The arrested persons include Binas, 39, a resident of Choornikkara, and Sherin Thomas, 34, from Thrissur, who were found in possession of the suspected drug. Vipin Wilson, who is accused of sourcing the MDMA from Thrissur for the duo, was also taken into custody.
Authorities have also seized a car linked to the case. All three accused are scheduled to be produced before the court.
